[Ottawa, ON]:  The Ottawa Network announces the addition of Shawna Tregunna, CEO of Acclivity Agency, and Priyaanka Arora, SEO Content Strategist at Plotly, to The Ottawa Network board. This milestone is a significant achievement for The Ottawa Network as they pursue their mission to expand and diversify the business community in Ottawa.

The Ottawa Network is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization connecting entrepreneurs, academics, business professionals, students, and government agencies for the purpose of promoting businesses in the Ottawa region. TON is known best for events, including TON of Demos and the Bootstrap Awards.

The Ottawa Network’s current board members include:

Current board member Adrian Becea, Director of Software Engineering at Syntronic, welcomes the new energy and talent, “I wish to express my gratitude to the new board members for signing up to serve the Ottawa entrepreneur community. I am especially grateful for the advanced marketing skill sets that they bring to the table, in addition to their long-standing ties to the community,” said Becea.

Shawna has been a member of TON for many years and brought her wisdom and spirit of encouragement to the group. Priyaanka has been working with TON for almost a year in promoting our community and is a naturally gifted communicator and connector.”

 

For those interested, the next Ottawa Network event is a TON of Demos, taking place at The ClockTower in the Glebe, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 6:00 PM. At this event, 3-4 Ottawa innovators will present a pitch of their company/product/model to the audience for questions and feedback. Everyone is welcome and can RSVP on MeetUp here.
