The Ottawa Network Kicks Off New Year
with a Focused Approach
The Ottawa Network 2009-2010 season got off to a great start on Wednesday. Thanks to Gowlings for hosting the event, which attracted over 115 people to help us kick off the year. One of the highlights of the event was Rick O’Connor’s presentation of the strategic plan for the year (click here to view presentation), which received kudos from at least one reviewer, Francis Moran of Inmedia. In his blog, Francis wrote:
“A weekend-long, competitive startup boot camp in October that will see the winning team take away $5,000 in seed funding was the most interesting piece of a coherent new programming line up announced last night by The Ottawa Network, the city’s grassroots networking club for the technology sector.” Read the whole blog.
